AIBMS Customer Feedback Survey Competition

1. To be eligible to enter the competition each entrant must:

a) be an existing customer of First Merchant Processing (Ireland) DAC (t/a AIB Merchant Services) (“AIBMS”);
b) be resident in Ireland or the United Kingdom:
c) be over 18;
d) enter the competition by completing a Customer Satisfaction Survey.

2. To enter the competition each entrant (having complied with condition 1(a) to (d) inclusive) must complete the competition entry form provided with their Customer Satisfaction Survey by providing their contact details, answering the competition question correctly, completing the tie-breaker question and pressing the submit button to enter online in advance of the below competition Closing Date.

3. The Closing Date for receipt of final entries is Friday 26 August 2022 at 6:00pm. Entries received after this time will not be valid.

4. Directors, officers, employees, contractors or agents of AIBMS and its affiliates (together referred to as “AIBMS”) or advertising or promotional agencies and members of their immediate families are not eligible to participate.

5. Only one entry permitted per person.

6. No purchase is necessary to enter the competition.

7. A judging panel, chosen at the discretion of AIBMS, will select one winning entry from all valid entries that answer the qualifying question and tie-breaker.

8. The judges’ decision is final and binding on entrants. No correspondence will be entered into.

9. The winning entrant will win a prize of an Apple 9th Generation iPad 10.2” 64GB Wi-Fi. The prize is non-exchangeable, non-transferable, and is not redeemable for any other prize (including cash prize).

10. The winning entrant will be notified by telephone or email following the closure of the competition and the selection of the winner by the judging panel. Notwithstanding that the winner has been declared, if AIBMS discovers before the distribution of the prize that for any reason under these terms and conditions either the winner was not eligible to enter the competition, or if their entry should have been declared invalid, AIBMS reserves the right to determine that the winner is disqualified and not entitled to the prize.

11. In the event that the winner cannot be contacted or does not respond to the winner notification within 14 days of notification, an alternative winner will be selected from any other entries.

12. AIBMS accepts no responsibility for entrants taking part in the competition and they do so at their own risk. AIBMS accepts no responsibility for and, to the maximum extent permitted by law, disclaims any and all liabilities howsoever arising in relation to these competitions including without limitation any direct or indirect loss or damage arising from the competition, or acceptance or use of the prize.

13. AIBMS reserves the right to amend, withdraw or terminate the competition or substitute any prize with another or alter the specification of the competition without prior notice.

14. AIBMS may not be held liable for any breakdowns, accidents, faults or technical complications in relation to the competition. AIBMS does not accept any responsibility for late, lost or misdirected entries or failure of any entry to be received.

15. The name of the winners may be obtained by any entrant to these competitions by sending a stamped addressed envelope to AIB Merchant Services Customer Experience Team, Block 6, Belfield Office Park, Clonskeagh, Dublin 4. Entrants consent to the disclosure of their name as the winner (if successful). The winner may be required to take part in publicity.

16. By entering the competition all entrants (and any winner) are deemed to have fully and unconditionally accepted these terms and conditions, and expressly consent to the processing of their personal data by (and transfer to) the promoter (as the data controller) for the purposes of the competition, and for any other purposes to which the entrant has agreed.

17. All information collected will be treated in accordance with the promoter’s privacy policy, available at https://www.aibms.com/privacy/.

18. The promoter is First Merchant Processing (Ireland) DAC trading as AIB Merchant Services. First Merchant Processing (Ireland) DAC is a joint venture between Allied Irish Banks, p.l.c. and First Data Corporation. The joint venture is a separate legal entity from Allied Irish Banks, p.l.c. and its subsidiary companies. First Merchant Processing (Ireland) DAC, trading as AIB Merchant Services, is regulated by the Central Bank of Ireland.

19. These terms and conditions shall be governed by the laws of Ireland and entrants submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish courts with respect to any dispute arising out of or in connection with the competition and/or these terms and conditions.
